Each child is allocated a key person who will support them through their time at pre-school, the key person and a manager will do a home visit and arrange visits before your child begins at pre-school to ensure that they settle quickly in to pre-school life. Each child is an individual and therefore will settle in to Pre-School differently we will support your child to make the transition period go as smoothly and as quickly as possible and supporting you too.
We use an online Learning Journal which is kept up to date by your child's key person, you will be able to access this and be able to add your own photographs and adventures to it so we can all see how your child is developing and growing, as we all know sometimes your child will do something at home but not at Pre-School and visa versa, plus these home photographs and adventures allows the key person to talk with your child about these building up a lovely strong bond.
We have two yearly parents evenings but we operate an open door policy and you are most welcome to pop in and see us any time, to discuss general concerns or more serious issues we are always here to support you.
