Fees and Funding
St Paul’s Preschool offers flexible session options for families, with fees charged according to session type and attendance.
Fees are usually payable in advance and may be paid weekly, monthly, half-termly or termly, depending on the arrangements agreed with the preschool.
Payment information
Fees remain payable if a child is absent without notice or absent for a short period. If your child is absent for a longer period, please speak to the Pre-School Manager so suitable arrangements can be discussed.
A child’s attendance is conditional on payment of any required fees and, where applicable, proof of eligibility for government-funded childcare
Funded childcare
St Paul’s Preschool accepts funded childcare places for eligible families, including:
- 15 funded hours for eligible 3 and 4 year olds
- Additional funded hours for eligible working families
- Funded places for eligible 2 year olds
- Working parents funding where eligibility criteria are met
Families can check their eligibility through Childcare Choices. Where a funding code is required, parents will need to provide the relevant code and National Insurance details.
When funding begins
Funded childcare usually begins from the term after a child becomes eligible.
- Children born between 1 September and 31 December may become eligible from January
- Children born between 1 January and 31 March may become eligible from April
- Children born between 1 April and 31 August may become eligible from September

- Breakfast Club: £6.00
- Morning Session: £26.00 or £28.00 with lunch
- Afternoon Session: £26.00
- Full Day Session: £45.00
Late collection charges
Where applicable, late collection charges may apply:
- 5 to 15 minutes late: £5
- More than 15 minutes late: £10
